Private Lessons
I love working with students in a one-on-one setting to explore the tunes and rhythms of traditional Irish and Old-Time music. I teach mostly by ear, but if you are interested in learning tunes by sheet music that's great, too. I strive to embrace student interests and preferences so that we can find what methods work best for you. I teach all ages and all levels, from never having picked up a fiddle to more advanced players who are looking to elevate their playing. Workshops
I am also available for workshops, which are usually focused on learning tunes as a group, but can also be about other topics such as bowing and ornamentation or playing and performing with a group. I love teaching in group settings because of the opportunity for knowledge sharing and learning from each other.
